"We need to do something more tangible than cry"

At this point the only thing that is shocking is how not shocked we are. I don't recall anybody even offering tweeted "thoughts and prayers" after this one. Not even chuffed enough to move their thumbs.

Another rage-filled loser brings a gun into school, and starts calmly walking up and down hallways, shooting his classmates like he's plugging fish in a barrel. Locations are no longer relevant. It's just a push-pin on a map at this point. There's no geographic pattern to these things. It's time for everybody to stop saying "it can't happen here", because "here" is exactly the kind of place where it does happen.
