It’s a bit surreal out there at the moment. Gas prices are the highest they’ve been in 2 years, and there’s no reason to think they won’t keep climbing as the war grinds on with no endgame in sight. It threatens to cripple not just our economy but everyone else’s too. Congress has once again been effectively neutered, as has the press corps, who remain perpetually afraid Trump might yell at them for asking a difficult question. MAGAs have already swallowed so much bullshit that tacking on a Middle East war is just another speedbump in their ongoing attempt to own the libs. They will gladly bend over at the pump. Dear Leader has “no concern” about gas prices and called them “a little glitch” of the “war.” A war that will be fought, it must be noticed, while he golfs. Not to be outdone, Dear Leader’s wife interrupted the bombing just long enough to plug her movie, reminding the plebes that the Bezos bribe was now available to stream on Amazon Prime.
