Everybody out there is fighting private battles. Nobody lets on because there's still a stigma attached to letting on. No matter how much more enlightened we consider ourselves, we don't like to admit that that enlightenment largely comes after the fact. Because that makes us feel better. That convinces us that we would have stepped in and said...."what can I do to help you?"
