The Grillmaster

Short sleeve weather the last few days here. Last night on my way out I drove past 2 young guys prowling the neighborhood. Black dress pants. White shirts. Ties. Looking like they just tumbled out of the dryer. They were going door to door. With their pamphlets. I never know if they are Mormons or Seventh Day Adventists or maybe Branch Davidians. I get them all confused. But the nice weather brings them out like flies, and a part of me admires their constantly cheerful tenacity.

A very small part, mind you. They have that dazed, dopey look that all cult members have.....as if they are constantly being surveilled by the mother ship from planet Zog and refuse to break character.
