Taylor Swift broke Ticketmaster and Elon Musk broke Twitter.
It's been a wild ride lately.
But I've grown weary of Musk, who is an unrelenting shithead about as interesting as a pissing toad. Last night he managed to lock himself out of Twitter headquarters because he fired the people in charge of actually giving you admittance to Twitter headquarters, which next to the virgin birth is the greatest story ever told.
On the other hand I really like Taylor Swift. She writes good songs and seems super chill so you’ll get no snark from me, and not just because my kids read this and would kill me. Taylor Swift is a major league talent, and she deserves her success.
My aforementioned kids, longtime Swifties (they saw her in 2013), tried and failed to score tickets during the recent pre-sale. Multiple times they had tickets secured, but when they clicked to buy them the website glitched......reset itself....and placed them once again at the back of the line. This is what's we in the IT industry call a "bug", which sounds more professional than "overworked underpaid 20 something in India writing trash code on an impossible deadline for some dickish boss". Plus it's less wordy.
