It's the most wonderful time of the year.
For sports fans that is.
Football is starting up, soon followed by baseball playoffs.
Baseball can make you weary during the long hot summer. Sensory overload. Too much of a good thing. Like an extra encore when you really should be beating the traffic. But the postseason never disappoints...if only because the Yankees are always watching on TV come October.
And football? It’s perfection until Notre Dame gets waxed by Ohio State during week one, thus eliminating them from the national championship race before I close my above-ground pool. Add to this the possibility that Mason Rudolph might be the Steeler’s starting QB this year and you can see why I’m so excited about the MLB playoffs.
