"Pee-Wee Hermann Goering"
It was a bad night for Josh Hawley, the Trump-loving Missouri Senator who has embraced what he called "a revival of strong and healthy manhood in America" and "traditional masculine virtues". After raising his fist in solidarity to the January 6 mob outside the capitol (and subsequently fundraising off the image, which he stuck on coffee mugs and hawked on his website), all while being protected by barriers and Capitol police of course, he was later caught on camera fleeing from the same crowd, masculine virtues be damned. Twitter feasts on these types of things, and soon the "Chariots of Fire" and "Benny Hill" (and later "Stayin' Alive" and "Born to Run") themes were added to the video, along with some deftly incorporated chickens.
