Nightmares about Algebra

I have a lot of nightmares. I’m sure a good therapist could dig out the reasons why, but I can’t be arsed to ask. I’m usually in bed by 11:30pm or so….and if I was watching or reading anything even remotely creepy, true crime stuff and the like, it usually wakes me up in a cold sweat a few hours later. Sometimes I find myself in that kind of half-sleep zone…..and I realize that I’m dreaming but can’t do anything to stop it. I drift in and out of the nightmare as if somebody has their finger on the pause button of the remote. More than a few times I’ve thrashed about enough to wake my wife. I’m a joy to be around, believe me.
