May you never run out of words...

Every few years I suck it up and try to put my books in some kind of order.

Alphabetical by title, or by author, or by subject. I once toyed with the idea of a homemade database, but I was young and silly then.

Anything that saves me from getting on my hands and knees and browsing through every book (hundreds and hundreds) on every shelf (over a dozen) in multiple rooms (four) to find something that just randomly popped into my head. If I get really desperate to find something I'll offer one of my kids money to track it down, but their asking price has gone up to where it's cheaper for me to just buy another copy.
