Both my daughter’s had graduations back in 2020. One from college. The other from high school. We had all sorts of celebratory plans, all of which were subsequently stomped by a vicious global pandemic that had us doing strange things like accepting a diploma through a car window like we were at a drive-thru picking up an order of fish and chips. Yet somehow these kids persevered and hung on for dear life and in the same week 3 years later one graduated law school and the other graduated from college, earning her 4 year degree one year early because that’s the kind of kid she is.

I’ve told you all about Alyssa and her day here. But I’m all about equal time. So now I’d like to tell you all about Kiera and her day.

Spoiler alert. I cried. Again.
