This is so great. I don't know how many times I saw them - twenty or thirty for sure - and they were as good in the pub down the end of the road as they were at the Hammersmith Odeon supporting Steve Earle. My favourite-ever live band.

This is really fantastic. This band has meant so much to me and provided some of my most cherished rock and roll memories. More than anyone or anything else. And they played my wedding! When I've tried to describe them over the years, I usually say something like "these were the kids in junior high screaming along together to "Prove It All Night" into a broom handle microphone like it meant everything in that moment." Fast forward a couple decades, not losing any bit of that 14-year-old urgency, but with real mics and guitars, and it was everything in the moment for those fortunate enough to be within sweating distance. Thank you for delivering this great piece.

Thank you for this. I’m just so glad I found this band. I was late to the party for sure, but these records are as good as rock and roll gets. They changed things for me.

Great piece. You nail what Marah means as closely as it can be nailed. It’s lightning, you can try to describe it but unless you’ve been struck by lightning you just can’t really know. This band changed my life like so many of us. I’ll never stop listening or hoping for one more show, and will always treasure our 20+ year friendship. Well done!!
