Fox News: Yes. We admit it. We've been lying to you the entire time.

Fox Viewers: No you haven't. That is Fake news!

And that pretty much sums up where we are at.

Which doesn't leave us with much wiggle room. It's a bit like getting into a rock fight, ending up in the ER with a busted head, and professing to having no idea what might have hit you.

Which is why we are doomed.

There are 2 types of Fox news viewers.

One is the group that intellectually KNOWS Fox is full of shit. But Fox creates a world of perpetual grievance that these people adore. It gets them off the hook. Everything is somebody else's fault. Minorities and gay people and drag queens and Hunter Biden and woke books about Roberto Clemente. Socialists and commies and ANTIFA are under the bed, and George Soros is behind every curtain, propping up all the libtards with wads of cash. It's a nice little box to live in, and validation is available nightly via an assortment of wild-eyed talking heads, who profess their undying love for Donald Trump and the MAGAverse on the air, while mocking him as a crude and dangerous dingbat in private conversations. "I hate him passionately", texted Tucker Carlson to a colleague.

¯\_(ツ)_/¯
