The more I think about all this AI stuff the more pissed off I get. AI is extraordinary. Within its wires and server farms and stressed out programming bros is the capability to do enormous good, which is currently being squandered by chuds using it for weirdo creepy reasons, like deepfake porn and reanimating dead people.

Because this is what we do. If there is a lowest common denominator, we not only find it, we tattoo it to our foreheads. Add to this that the so-called AI pioneers are the absolute worst of the billionaire tech class, and my visions for the future are even more apocalyptic than usual, which is BAD. Ghouls like Sam Altman are the ones who sponsor your little league team during the day and dump toxic sludge into the Lackawanna River under cover of darkness.
