Hard times for a Libertarian
Having already come down with a case of the holiday blues, the images that hit me Saturday morning of Mayfield KY, and other states, certainly didn't help any. A devastating slew of tornadoes cut a middle-of-the-night swath of destruction across the nation's mid-section, and days later authorities are still not done gathering up the bodies. Over 100 are confirmed dead now, and that number creeps ever higher every time I look. The usual thoughts and prayers are being offered, mostly via twitter, but nobody is quite sure how many thoughts and prayers equals a new house or a paid funeral. Somebody should do a study on that.
