Good guys with guns

I watched the press conference yesterday in a sputtering rage. A hapless representative of the Uvalde police department was trying to explain why they waited an hour for backup when they already had over 80 armored and well-armed cops outside doing fuck-all. To stay limber, these officers arrested, tased, and tackled desperate parents who, after beseeching the cops to do SOMETHING, had had enough and tried to enter the school on their own. It's all on video, because everything is on video nowadays. You can hear the screaming on the video......and it's chilling because it's not clear if it's coming from the children inside, or their parents trying to get to them.

I don't know which is worse.
