I often wonder what their endgame is.
Republicans, I mean. Once their concentration camps are all built, and poor people are made illegal and masked ICE agents have tossed the last brown person into the back of the last SUV, and all the bombs have been dropped, and the last Trump watch has been grifted to the last sucker, and the Supreme Court is asked to maintain the new golf course on the White House grounds to stay busy once they roll back a half century worth of laws, and all government safety nets have been dismantled, and health care becomes unaffordable and the housing market collapses and people start dying of polio and measles again and cities begin to burn and the military starts shooting citizens in the streets, and Donald Trump is 87 years old and serving his 4th term, presiding over a 1 party system that banished Democrats to caves and outlawed all news organizations except for the one that had to pay $787 million for lying. When his picture hangs on every street corner and outside every shuttered government agency, and is plastered all over the Kennedy Center, where Kid Rock has a permanent residency. When Barron is chief of staff and Melania has fucked off with her secret service detail and her pre-nup and Stephen Miller takes over the State Department because Marco Rubio accidently got deported to the Florida everglades.
What then?
Does everybody who is left get invited to the next Jeff Bezos wedding? Was that the goal the entire time?
This is a serious question.
