Escaped monkeys and Dr Oz
When NEPA makes the national news it's never for anything good. This time it was for escaped monkeys.
And not just any monkeys. Cynomolgus monkeys. (I had to google that too so I'll wait). According to the New York Times they can be worth $10,000 each, and were on their way to a lab in Florida, where I'm sure they would have been treated just swell. Four of them escaped in the aftermath of a traffic accident on route 80, and at least one was found in a nearby tree, which makes sense since they are monkeys.
