It doesn’t take much to distract us. We move on quickly as a nation.

Dead CEO? What dead CEO?

We’ve now on New Jersey drones….drones apparently becoming the 21st Century’s version of crop circles.

I have lots of questions, leading off with “why New Jersey?”

Nothing against the place. We’ve all been to its beaches and survived summer trips on its state trooper infested turnpikes and parkways. It’s a perfectly acceptable state. Rich. Poor. Black. White. City. Suburb. All the good and the bad and the touristy tackiness that America has to offer. Princeton University. Einstein and John Nash and the Magic Rat lived and plied their trades there. The Hindenburg blew up in its sky. It’s the home of the Blob diner. For some reason not one but 2 New York football teams play “home” games there. Scrappy Atlantic City took on Vegas and held her own. Springsteen and the Sopranos have given Jersey the kind of allure that chambers of commerce can only dream about. All this being said, I just can’t imagine there can be much intelligence to gather by circling over its trailer parks and golf courses and pine barrens. Drones should be circling Area 51, not Bedminster Country Club.
